Our goal is to “keep it simple” and help you accomplish DIY home improvement projects that previously required messy and complicated caulking. Caulking as we all know requires someone with training, experience or a professional to give your project a clean-looking appearance. If you have attempted to caulk anything without really knowing what you are doing, you know what I’m talking about. Caulk is sloppy, sticky, messy, time-consuming, and usually ends up looking horrible. Our products solve these challenging issues and provide you with the ability to take on these projects with results that look like a professional did it. In fact, many professional contractors use InstaTrim to save time on all kinds of trim projects.
In keeping with the theme of making DIY easier, InstaTrim has designed a new applicator tool to assist in applying both widths of our self-adhesive flexible trim. It is a simple handheld tool with a rotating wheel on each end, one for our ½” wide products and one for our ¾” wide products. It is designed with your comfort in mind by incorporating an ergonomic handle that is easy to grasp and hang on to.

The benefit of using our new applicator tool is after you have lined up the InstaTrim, pressed it lightly into place every few inches to make sure it is in the correct position, the applicator assists in providing enough even pressure when you do the final “press into place” to ensure the adhesive makes good contact with the surface you are applying it to.
There are a couple things that may cause our flexible trim to come loose from the surface you install it on. Making sure the surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oils, silicone, dust, and debris are number one. Applying the proper amount of pressure during installation is also very important when installing your InstaTrim. The adhesive needs to adhere and bond with the application surface you are installing it on, which can be difficult to do with your bare hands. That’s why we invented this wheeled tool. It makes it easy to press InstaTrim in place with enough pressure and create a good seal, resulting in our trim moulding lasting for years.
