Needs more grip

Although the product is easy to install and looks good, the tacky adhesive is not very strong. After a few days, a few of the corners started curling up. Yes, my floor was clean and yes, I used a roller on it. I think if the entire backing was coated with a different type of adhesive, that it might work better. Btw, used it in my rv. New floors, so that's why I decided to go with this product.

I didnt have good luck

I got these because I saw great reviews on the tape and corners. I step by step followed the instructions. The corners didnt fit in the corner I needed, and the tape did stick to anything at all. I prepped the tub and walls and even let it dry overnight before putting up the tape. Its peeling off the walls and tub. I even tried it around the sink and nothing is sticking to the porcelain. I wanted this to work so badly.

Christine, I'm sorry our trim did not work for you. It sounds like you have old silicone caulking on the application surfaces. Unfortunately, nothing sticks to old silicone caulk. If I can help in getting that removed please let us know.

Needs new life

This stuff works okay. It looks good and goes down easily. I suggest two things. Place a different Adhesive on the part of the back that isn't covered. Make the whole thing sticky, not just the center.
And for users, always add a 1/2 inch to your measurements. It's easier to cut off the excess, than to cut it short.

I used the product for a small bathroom vanity and between the countertop and backsplash in my kitchen. It solved the problem of cracking caulk and crumbling grout. It was very easy to install and looks great. I highly recommend following the surface prep directions as this made the product adhere very well. The entire project took less than 30 minutes which was far less time that it would have taken to redo the grout and caulk.
